During the seven months of the war, dozens of specialized vehicles were received by medical institutions in many cities of Ukraine.
“This is one of the largest humanitarian projects in Ukraine. About 100 vehicles were purchased in the EU countries and handed over to hospitals that daily rescue wounded soldiers and civilians affected by hostilities, and need the ability to quickly carry out their important work, ”said Kerylo Papakytsya, Vadym Novynskyi’s assistant.
Together with an ambulance, food products of prime necessity were brought to Pokrovsk and front-line Avdiivka, where civilians still remain.
On the territory of St. Michael's Church of Pokrovsk, Archpriest Olexandr Kondratyuk, Dean of the city, performed the rite of consecration of a special vehicle, after which it was immediately handed over to the staff of the Pokrovsk City Hospital.
“When we turned to the Vadym Novynskyi Foundation and asked for an ambulance for the city, we did not hear unnecessary questions: “why do you need it?”, “Give me a justification?”. Everything was fast - if necessary, then necessary, ”said Margaryta Idrisova, deputy mayor of Pokrovsk.
If the situation at the front worsens, this vehicle will be able to deliver the wounded to the hospital located in an area separated from the rest of the Pokrovsk community by a railway bridge.
